Developmental Services Network (DSN) is proud to offer providers of ICF/DD-H, ICF/DD-N and ICF/DD-CN services in the state of California, a comprehensive, practical approach to training new QIDPs or QIDPs who would like to have their skills refreshed. This is the class used by CDPH for district manager and surveyor training in the past. This program will involve two days of non-stop introductions to and exploration of:
The revised ICF/IID SOM Appendix J-Interpretive Guidelines and probes and procedures that were recently released by CMS.
Stacy Sullivan is the Director of Operations for Mountain Shadows Support Group, an agency which has provided ICF/IID services for more than 29 years in California for more than 300 people. She has been an instructor for QIDP training programs for 15 years including community homes and state developmental centers. Stacy offers practical solutions to the day-to-day obstacles faced by QIDPs.
Laurie Purcell is VP of Residential Services for Home of Guiding Hands. Laurie has over 35 years of experience serving individuals with developmental and physical disabilities and has worked as a QIDP, trained and supervised QIDP staff, served on State regulatory review task forces and is well versed in our industry standards. Most recently, in San Diego County, Laurie downsized a 99-bed facility, developed and licensed 15 ICF/DD-Ns, opened a 100-capacity day program and now oversees 25 ICF/DD-H and 6 CCL group homes.
